Dayton Art Institute: Special Interest Tour – The Art of the Pitch- A Singles Tour

Dayton
12:00 AM

This singles event gets a creative twist! Instead of the usual introductions, your friends take the spotlight by “pitching” you to the group with handpicked artworks that capture your vibe, personality, or sense of humor. As you explore the galleries, every artwork tells two stories: the artist’s and yours, making it a fun, unexpected way to spark conversation and connections. After the tour, keep the good energy going with beer, wine and light bites while you mix, mingle and maybe find a match! Up to five Reservations open to pitch their single friend. Four artworks to share more about their single friend: – Shark Girl As Boxer: What animal best represents your friend? How would you describe their alter ego? – Portrait of A Young Lady: What is something a little “off” or strange about your single friend? – The Feast of Achelous: Is your friend an introvert or an extrovert? How do they like to party? – Portrait of a Young Man with a Sword: How does your single friend express themselves through fashion? You must be 21 to participate. IDs will be checked at the door. Sitar Sutra – Echoes Of A Timeless Land

Dayton
12:00 AM

From the meditative stillness of an evening raga to the vibrant pulse of folk melodies from across the subcontinent, SITAR SUTRA — ECHOES OF A TIMELESS LAND is a musical journey through the emotional landscape of one of the world’s great classical traditions. Sitar Maestro Anupama Bhagwat, one of the foremost exponents of the Imdadkhani Gharana, guides audiences through an evening that begins in the ancient grammar of Hindustani classical music and gradually opens into the diverse musical cultures of India: devotional music, the lyrical poetry of thumri, and folk traditions from Rajasthan, Bengal, Kashmir, and beyond. Through expressive improvisation and brief narrative interludes, the concert offers audiences an intimate and engaging encounter with a musical world that spans centuries.

Outlander In Concert

Dayton
12:00 AM

Do you ever feel as if everything is pointing you towards something… space, time, history? For longtime “Outlander” fans, these words feel like home. As the global phenomenon reaches its conclusion in 2026, its heart continues to beat on stage with OUTLANDER IN CONCERT. The officially licensed live concert experience was created in collaboration with its showrunner Matthew B. Roberts and original Emmy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary. The iconic score by Bear McCreary takes centerstage, performed live by an orchestra, while the series’ most stirring moments unfold on a cinema‑sized screen. OUTLANDER IN CONCERT celebrates the show’s rich heritage, its timeless characters, and the sweeping landscapes that made us fall in love. Premiering in Scotland, the heart and home of “Outlander,” Echoes of The Highlands will fill the air, reminding us that this is not the end… but just the beginning. Officially licensed by Sony Pictures Television and in collaboration with official broadcaster Starz, this concert is a love letter to the story that captured millions of hearts across the world.
