With more than five decades of music behind them, ZZ Top has built one of rock’s most recognizable careers through a signature blend of blues-driven rock, sharp songwriting, and unmistakable style. Formed in Texas in 1969, the band rose from regional clubs to international fame with a sound rooted in the blues and defined by tight musicianship and swagger. Their breakthrough came in the 1970s with acclaimed albums Tres Hombres and Fandango!, featuring early hits like “La Grange” and “Tush,” songs that remain staples of classic rock radio today.
