Weekend Warriors — Interclub Pickleball League Defend Your Home Courts. Conquer Theirs. PLEASE NOTE: This registration page is set for the last day of team registration which is Tuesday, September 29th. The first practice will be Saturday, September 26th. Open to players currently rated DUPR 3.400–3.899 (3.5+ Division) or 3.900–4.499 (4.0+ Division). Weekend Warriors is a regional interclub league where Black Barn fields a team that trains together, competes as a club against other Ohio Valley facilities, and travels to away matches throughout the season. For full game formats, rules, and league-wide details covering all four participating clubs, visit: wwinterclub.thepicklelodge.com . Roster: Each team can have up to 8 men and 8 women (16 total). Everyone on the roster plays at practices — but only 6 men and 6 women take the court on game days. The extra roster spots are intentional: they give the team a deep enough bench to field a full lineup every week, even with vacations, injuries, or scheduling conflicts over the season. Schedule: Full match schedule is still TBD, but your practice/game time is fixed for the whole season: Play or practice happens on Saturdays only. The season skips major holidays and large tournament weekends (including Monster Smash and Wintermax), and concludes with a playoff event in mid-to-late January. We don't yet know which specific weeks will be coached practices with OPA instructors versus match weeks — that will be finalized once all participating clubs confirm their team counts and rosters. We'll announce that schedule as soon as it's set. Away Matches: Matches at any facility other than a Lodge location require a $20 entry fee, paid at that facility before games begin. Team Captains: Each team has a designated captain responsible for building the weekly roster and reporting scores after each match.
